We’d like to officially unveil this video that Steve, our lovely bass player, made during his studies in film making at university a little while ago. We thought it was worth you seeing, so we pestered Steve until he agreed to release it. Thanks Steve, you’re a champion among men.

Hey friendships,

well it’s all happening! We’re a week into pre-production for our next record – which will probably be an album given the number of songs we are currently working on! At the moment we’re in the midst of tracking a batch of seven brand newies in our makeshift studio near the Adelaide Airport. They’re sounding super punchy and energetic, we’re psyched to get this stuff finished so you can hear it!

I’ve been trying to fit in continuing building the studio at my place, we’ve projected a completion date for the end of April with all hands on deck. I’m currently geeking out having just purchased a bunch of studio gear from Darren Thompson, formerly of Third Avenue Studios, including a pair of vintage Neve 1272 preamps which will no-doubt leave their sweet silky mark on our new tracks. Stay tuned for photos of the studio once it looks a bit more… finished!

We’ve got an action-packed February, we’ll be playing Fuse Festival ‘Coopers Fuse West’ showcase at Enigma Bar on Thursday Feb 24th at 12:30, come check out our new material and live show. http://www.fusefestival.com/fuse-west-lineup/

We’re also gearing up to support old friends Antiskeptic for their reformation ‘Back in the Game’ Tour. Move to Strike

We are pleased to announce that we will be supporting our old friends Antiskeptic for their comeback tour with new material and a new lineup!

So we’re looking forward to seeing our friends in Melbourne and making some new ones in Sydney for our first trip up to NSW.

We’re so happy to annouce that we’ve booked our headlining show for 2011!!! We’ve got our buddies My Echo coming over from Melbourne for their adelaide release of their new EP, which i may say is crazy good. Also we’ve got The Shakes and mystery band Sorry Yoko on the bill. This will be the best MTS show of the year so get on down!!!! We’re pre-selling tickets for $10, so hit us up via facebook.

So its seems that we’ve finally become a real band!!!!!! About time, huh… its only taken us like a good 50 years. We’re so happy to announce that we’ve got the 6th member of move.to.strike, Mr Ben Keys from Parallel Agencies has placed us under his managerial wing to take us to the next level. We’ve got so much cool shit in the works, our new songs for our debut album are sounding like us but in music form, i dont know if thats a good thing but at least its a thing right? The next six months are going to probably be the most hectically beautiful of the bands career to date, so hopefully some of u guys and dolls will join us for the ride……. We’re going to get super 2011 and get technology all up in here, so stay tuned…..

Anywho enough of my senseless banter, heres a pic of the studio & rehearsal space that Ben is building in his house for the 2012 MTS album.. booo yeah!

So in late 2010, we made the long trip to a town more known for their pussy of a football team ‘The Cats’ to film our debut clip for our single “Inflight”. We were lucky enough that our extremely talented ol bud Mr Ryan Chamley at Robot Army Digital Media wanted to work with us to create this masterpiece of cinematography….. So after getting as pretty as humanly possible, we got our film on and ended up with this ol chestnut…..
So go grab yourself some popcorn, a blanket and a relax to the visual delights of out debut film clip ‘INFLIGHT’…

So after a long time in the dark our site is BACK!!!!!! We apologise to all that have graced this page and have been left jaded and disappointed.  BUT! from now on MTS will be making the place to be on this crazy thang we like to call the internet……

We are currently in the throws of writing our debut album and if we’ve been lucky enough for you to catch us live in the last couple of months you would of heard some of the salutary new tunes that may end up on the album. So by summer 2011 we are gearing up to get into Studio (by which is getting built in Bens House!!!)  and record songs so sweet it will make your cute old nanna look like a hobo………….

We’ve got some big shows coming up! So get YO SELF READY!!!!!!!
